One of our newest research sites of excellence is Salt Lake Retina.  With its three-fellowship trained vitreo-retina specialists who trained at the finest institutions in the U.S. (Dr. Andrew S. Davis, Dr. Christopher J. Gee, Dr. Douglas Mehr), Salt Lake Retina has rapidly risen as one of the leading sites for retina research thanks to the dedication of their 3 physicians and their full-time research team. Given this success and need to accommodate their growing prominence in the clinical trial space, Salt Lake Retina is happy to announce the addition of Bekah Gensure, MD/PhD in May 2025 to continue their best-in-class patient care.

Constantly investing in the latest technologies in retina to better serve their large patient population has allowed Salt Lake Retina to become highly sought after to participate in many different vitreo-retina indications for clinical trials including both “wet” and “dry” Age-related Macular Degeneration, Geographic Atrophy, and Diabetic Retinopathy.

Additionally, since inception the team at Salt Lake Retina has been continuously committed to the community they serve, offering their expertise and time as volunteer doctors at local weekend Ophthalmology clinics to take care of underserved patients who would otherwise not receive the care they need.  It is the compassion for patients and enthusiasm in advancing eye care through clinical research for all people that are the true highlights of this practice.
